week 4 brings a lot of new things!!

This week, Nakia shares ALL of the things she did in ONE weekend!!
First, we shared the Thirsty Thursday event (the next one is August 26th! Get your tickets now!) and we had a blast!! Check out our video and highlights on our Instagram page!

Nakia attended the Women's Football Alliance Championship over the weekend at the Pro Football Hall of Fame and had a blast! Q92 gave us free tickets to the event at Thirsty Thursday! Then she also visited the EN-RICH-MENT African American Arts Festival Saturday!

We both visited the Downtown Canton Farmer's Market at different times but both hit up the M&H Beans Beanbox coffee truck! How did we both walk away with a lavender-infused beverage?! Who knew?!

And keeping with the lavender theme, Nakia had a lavender-infused cheese from Fromage Du Monde and Tracy had tried it a few weeks before, delish!!

Tracy finally got to have lunch at Jerzee's last week by Centennial Plaza and loved it! Great food and atmosphere!

The outdoor summer movie series was another event they discussed and the schedule is available on the Palace website!

Tracy hopes to get Nakia to her FIRST Pro Football HOF Balloon Classic this weekend! Check out the full schedule of events!

Week 3 ...exploring some new things!

We are blown away over how fast time flies because we keep discovering so many new things and feel like we can't share them fast enough with you!

This week, Nakia shares her visit the A+ Crab, the new location on Tusc! Tracy had visited a few weeks back too, before the podcast started and both recommend it!!
Nakia also loved her visit to Tremont Coffee! We discussed their multiple locations and how they have come across their varieties of coffees (with the kind help from their staff!) Nakia told Tracy to visit Francisco's and boy was she RIGHT! It was phenomenal!!

This weekend, Nakia will be participating in the Community Parade that kicks off the Pro Football Hall of Fame festivities! Be sure to hollar "WHO KNEW" to her if you see her!!

We are looking forward to Thirsty Thursdays with Q92's very own Nikolina on the rooftop of Tom Benson Stadium at the Pro Football Hall of Fame tomorrow night!! Check out our NEW Instagram page and we'll probably do a IG LIVE!!

Episode 2 - our weekend with our families

This week, we explored some different locations with our families! It's so fun to learn about new places and events from one another.

Nakia attended the Canton Blues Fest, in their 12th year!
Tracy tried WingStop (from Nakia’s recommendation) and loved it!

We both visited the Downtown Canton Farmers Market this weekend and M&H coffee was a great surprise as a vendor now attending! Their new chicken salad is amazing!

We talked about the upcoming Pro Football Hall of Fame festivities, including the popular Balloon Classic at the end of this month!
Our visit to Cantonology inspired us to talk about Mother Gooseland Park!

Tracy mentioned the SARTA bus route to Cleveland...and she was right! Their route information is on their website!

We hope to stop by a Muggswigz location on our next coffee excursion! Stay tuned to where we will be in Stark County and Canton next!! Be sure to visit our blog on the website to check our more details and photos!

Welcome to our blog & podcast!

Good things happen over coffee! We love going out for coffee! This brainstorming session was started by Nakia over a Highlander brew from Carpe Diem in downtown Canton. Nakia said, "let's do a podcast, let's just share what we love with others and have some fun" so that's where we are now! We're including you in on the chats, the places we visit and asking you where we should explore next! We hope you have fun along the way!

Our podcast will be weekly and about 1/2 hour long. We won't take up a lot of your time but you'll laugh for those 30 minutes as we share what we see, find, try and more! Plus we'll be sharing our real-life moments as hard-working women in Stark County!
