Episode 15- football and art

Last weekend we loved the Chocolate Walk that the North Canton Chamber of Commerce offered to the Community! We had a great lunch at The Howlin' Bird afterward and made plans for Sunday to visit Lowry's Family Restaurant and Green Farms! Neither one disappointed and we recommend both for a great meal for healthy food options when in East Canton!
Nakia is looking forward to the Massillon/McKinley game this weekend! Tracy is visiting the Van Gogh Exhibit in Cleveland. Next week is already Thirsty Thursday's Halloween party! We hope to catch you there in costume! We can't wait to share ours!
Every week we end with what we would love to see in Stark County. This week was no exception when we discussed the new Amazon distribution center coming to the area as well as the huge news of Dave Baker retiring from the Pro Football Hall of Fame and Jim Porter stepping into those big shoes! Literally!
We can't wait for all of the construction to be complete at the Hall but Nakia really would like an outlet mall and Cheesecake Factory here (plus an Ikea if it isn't too much to ask....) who can make this happen?!

Welcome to Who Knew These Things! We talk a lot about family this week because Tracy took off to Hocking Hills to visit hers! It was a relaxing football-filled weekend for Nakia so we have made plans to catch up this upcoming weekend!

Our Canton Food Tour has been postponed because of a larger group but that's okay! We're really excited they are busy towards the end of their season! We will organize another in 2022!

This Saturday is the Chocolate Walk in North Canton! We're walking the event and hope to see you!

Welcome to episode 7! We attended the same event at the same time but separately over the weekend! The North Canton Main Street Festival was awesome! We hope you got to attend and can relate to our recap in the show! Visit the North Canton Chamber of Commerce webpage to see more community events available this year!

Tracy tried Rice Paper - a new Thai restaurant in North Canton near Belden Village and it was so good! Nakia saw The Howlin' Bird while at the Main Street Festival and is ready to try that location now! Johnny Lotes (food pictured) was a new food truck for Tracy and it was awesome!

We're recommending the North Canton Farmer's Market that's on Wednesdays because once the outdoor season is over, they move INSIDE the old North Canton Kmart location!

Thirsty Thursday is coming up next week! We hope to see you there!

Welcome to our 6th episode, and we are so excited to talk about what we've done since our first live guest and what we're planning to do this weekend!
Again, thanks to Mike Sturdivant for being our guest last week!
Nakia and I attended a few separate events since then! She was at Canton First Friday during one of the BUSIEST evenings this year yet! If you haven't attended one, you won't want to miss this fun time every month of the year!
Tracy was at the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Fashion Show on Friday! It was a different setup but still a great event with a lot of attendees!

Saturday, Nakia attended the Grand Parade, and Tracy was at Side Street Market in Oakwood Square. They BOTH wore the same shirt...you'll see it on the social media accounts! They want to visit Bloom Hill Farms to get some amazing flowers from their self-serve cart and visit Maize Valley Winery to pick sunflowers!

This weekend, we hope to catch up at the North Canton Main Street Festival! Nakia is looking forward to getting cookies from Little Chunk of Goodness, and Tracy will be there until 1 pm!

We hope you enjoy this week's episode!!
